The game itself was just as "meh" as the THMS games I've been to, but I still had fun :)
The band was, as usual, blow-your-socks-off amazing. Even if we were so far away the sound lagged from their movements, it was still awesome :) And the screen.
Homigosh, the screen. I swear, I spent more time staring at that screen of goodness than the field itself. (until they covered the band's halftime show with a bunch of ads and then I ignored it as much as the actual game OTL)
And during halftime, too, there were these little kids that had to be fresh out of Elementary School playing on the field. They were so tiny and adorable--and DANG can they run! No, seriously, this one kid ran halfway across the field in one go to score a goal--TWICE! I liked their game better than the UofA game, in all honesty--maybe because I knew they were just playing for fun, but I dunno.
Another really fun part was the people in front of us. Annoyingly loud as only football fans could be, but amusing to watch nonetheless. There was this one guy about three rows down from us that had a foam finger, and every time they showed someone in the crowd with one on the screen he'd jump up and wave it so hard I was convinced it was going to fly up and hit me in the face while he yelled "FOAM FINGER!!!!!!!" At the top of his lungs.
I'm pretty sure I'll have a headache most of tomorrow, but it was worth it. I had fun, overall.
Also, this year is going annoyingly fast. Seriously, I'm having a total YJ Robin moment:
"September?! What happened to March?!"
I mean, seriously. My dad keeps counting down how many weeks left I have in school, even though we just started three weeks ago. 34 freaking weeks! And then I'm not in High School any more! Can you believe that? And if you can, could you explain it to me? Because I sure as heck don't get it.
OH! I've also started a sort of side-blog to accompany this one:
http://sincerelydoubtfulproductions.blogspot.com/
That blog will be solely for stories and/or chapters; nothing more. It's not got anything yet, but I plan on having most if not all of my incomplete works put up on there. My plan is to work on a story/fanfic/whatever on the blog itself, then when I deem it complete enough I'll post it either on FictionPress or FF.net.
I'm trying it this way because with my KH fanfic ATJ, I quickly realized that A) there's little to no consistency plot-wise, B) I changed my mind frequently and would randomly add/change things, and C) there were long stretches of inactivity during which my writing style would change, or my influences mashed around, or whatever. And since I'd rather not pull a George Lucas with the whole "Consistency? What is this consistency you speak of?" thing, I'm going to get as far as I can with a story (if not completing it all together) BEFORE I show it to the mass public.
Don't get me wrong--that blog'll be as public as this one. But I know for a fact FF.net has more traffic than blogger, so the mass public is more likely to read something off there than here. (especially on a blog that's school-project-turned-inactive-turned-ranting-space)
AND I'm making another blog as we speak for ATJ for the same reason. I'm giving ATJ its own because, honestly, I need to have all of that stuff in one place otherwise I think I'll go crazy XD
http://SinDoubtPresentsATJ.blogspot.com
As for Pottermore: Not quite as active as I'd like to be on there, but whatevs. Only the first book is available at the moment, and I've gone through it a few times, so I'm trying not to overkill it. I'm as good at potions as Neville, honestly, and the spell casting is only letting me learn Incendio. I would duel but no one else will duel me, so I've basically got no way to keep the ruddy Slytherins from winning the House Cup. We've got more members, but no matter what we do, they still beat us by ten points. I swear, Snape's awarding them extra for potions or something. (By WE I mean Ravenclaws, naturally.) Last I checked the order for House Points was Slytherin -> Ravenclaw -> Hufflepuff -> Gryffindor. (Haha, Harry's costing the Gryffindor's house points again) It's kind of funny; the more I think on it the less I see me as a Puff. I mean, yeah, I think I'll always have some Puff-like qualities, but I'm totally rockin' the Ravenclaw at the moment X3

Honestly, do you watch Disney Channel?: I used to, but not so much any more, since I gave up on TV. I used to watch the Suite Life series, and still do whenever I actually get the chance. I did like Hannah Montanna's show before it became lame and mainstream, and my first introduction to Disney Channel was That's So Raven :)

What do you do when you're mad?: If I'm mad at someone I use Doom 2 (a binder covered in silver duct tape. What is your skin tone?: sort of a tanish yellow.
Current piercings?: ears one hole each
Have any tattoos?: not unless you count the random occasional pen doodle
Straight hair or curly?: neither. I call it flippy, because it either flips to the left, right, out or in. Rarely does it go in the same direction twice, which is more than a little difficult to work around. That's also why I usually just leave it be.

1.) What brought you to dA? (DA meaning DeviantArt)
A fanart of the Murauders
2.) Favorite Genre of Music?
Don't go by genre; I go by the beat and lyrics
3.) If you were to fall into one fashion label category, what would it be? (preppy, athleticwear, goth, etc..)
...Nerd? I dunno; I don't know labels well enough to tell.
4.) Shaken or stirred?
Don't drink
5.) The worst possible thing that could happen to you in public?
I'd rather not think on that
6.) Phobias?
See 5
7.) If you could force two people/ocs/whatevers to wed, who would they be and why?
America and Common Sense. Because Common Sense in America is like Cake in the game Portal: A LIE
8.) What's one of your worst pet peeves?whenpeopleuse, liek, horable gramer on emportent asignments and stuffReally, people. It's one thing if you're typing at one in the morning on a blog because you had too much Mountain Dew before the football game. It's another if you're handing in an English essay--or worse yet, a story you want someone else to read.
9.) Do you liek mudkpz?Funny story on that, actually; the first and only Pokemon card I've ever owned is a mudkip.
(To those who don't know: Two years ago, DevArt swapped everyones icons for April fool's day for one that says 'so i heard u liek mudkipz?' and it's since been a bit of a running gag for those of us who were there.)
10.) If I could improve one thing in my art/general presence on dA, it would be..?
DevArt- submitting stuff and being more active all around
Art in general - Stop relying on bases and find my own style for once
Writing - expanding my characters

A ringtailed leamur, because they're my favorite type of monkey

2. Do you like amusement parks? Eh. Nothing beats Disney.
3. Worst thing you've done to your best friend? All but ignored her for most of Middle School
4. Your favorite oc of yours? Aanyx, if only because I've had her the longest. In all technicality, I took my first ever self-insert and turned it into her, so she's come a long way :) Though I do also really like Spider King because his MMD model turned out AMAZING
5. What kind of video games do you like? Mostly "dungeon-crawlers" as my dad calls them--the type of RPG where you can explore and really get into the storyline. My current favorites are the KH series (and always will be) Marvel Ultimate Alliance (Superheroes FTW) and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (has the most detailed Hogwarts and the most areas you can actually explore. It's like every Potter Geek's dream come true...)
6. What would you dress up as for Halloween? Probably a Ravenclaw student, honestly. If I can convince my parents to let me go fabric shopping, then MAYBE either Roxas or Sora, but that's pretty slim chance...
7. If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? No idea. I'd imagine I'd get tired of just one thing for the rest of my life. Maybe some kind of glitch-free Wonka product that can taste like whatever I feel like eating or something...
8. Would you rather be a fish or sloth? My first answer would be fishy, but that's only because I don't know as much about sloths.
9. Do you like dA? I do but I don't. I like that you can browse through everyone's art, but I don't like that there seem to be more vulgar people and more art thieves about...
